The “plus plus” of life 🌿🍲⌨️
I’m a programmer based in Switzerland, with roots in Kerala, South India. I experiment with Indian and fusion recipes using Swiss ingredients, and share them here step by step, with the tips the videos don’t always have time for.
Back when computers were still a novelty and object-oriented programming was the next big thing, I learned C++, and it launched my career in IT.
Years later, now living in Switzerland, I decided to share the cooking I’d picked up over the years. While searching for a name, I kept coming back to where it all started.
My roots are in India, the home of curry. In C++, the ++ operator means “add one more”. So Curry++ is curry, plus all the little things that make life amazing: growing my own vegetables, experimenting with Swiss ingredients, travelling for food, filming, and now building this website.
Curry, plus plus… and it keeps going.
// Curry++ : The plus plus of life auto life = 0; life++; // cooking life++; // photography life++; // homegrown vegetables life++; // Swiss ingredients life++; // travel food life++; // YouTube adventures // And the best part? while (true) { life++; // there's always something more :-) }
Traditional recipes inspired by my roots in Kerala, South India, plus beginner-friendly guides to mastering spices and easy recipes for students, often made with ingredients from the Swiss supermarket.
Dishes from beyond India, like Chicken Alfredo Pasta or a Spicy Burger.
Modern cooking tips, like getting the most out of my steam oven.
My fruit and vegetable gardens, and what I make with the harvest.
Many recipes and guides come with a personal story: a family memory, where the dish comes from, or how a recipe came about in my kitchen. Look for the 📖 Story tab next to the ingredients and steps. More stories are added over time.
I would love to count you as a fellow explorer in this journey.
